Refurbishment of Protected Structure
This project consisted of the complete refurbishment of 3 no. terraced houses (protected structures) located in Kings Island, Limerick City. The scope extended to the assessment and refurbishment of the 3 no. terraced houses and associated site development works including new drainage & potable water supplies.
The 3 no. dwellings were in a very poor state of repair with excessive water ingress and deterioration of the internal fabric. The Refurbishment works included an appraisal of the existing structural elements, repairs to the existing walls and the replacement of all floors & roofs.
DRA Consulting Engineers provided full Civil & Structural Engineering Services including design & supervision of all works.
