Project Description

Landmark Commercial Office Tower

This development is part of the larger Melbourne Quarter precinct, located in the heart of the Southern Cross precinct in Melbourne’s CBD. The 30 storey tower comprises of approximately 50,000sqm of commercial and retail NLA whilst targeting a 6 star Green Star rating.

The structure is comprised of post-tensioned floor plates, with a reinforced concrete core founded on piles providing the lateral stability. Adjacent the 2MQ tower is Melbourne Square, a public landscaped area which spans over Wurundjeri Way. The structure spanning the road includes a series of pre-cast, pre-tensioned planks supported on post-tensioned band beams which reduce the impact of installation over the roadway.

Works commencement on site in the early months of 2018.
