Project Description
Boherclogh Street, Cashel, Co. Tipperary
This project consisted of the construction of 12 no. housing units on a brownfield site in Cashel, Co. Tipperary. There were a number of derelict buildings on the site which required demolition & clearing. The site was constrained and challenging in respect of topogrphy and high bedrock levels. Road improvement and modificdation works to the public road also formed part of the proejct including the constuction of a new mini-roundabout to faciltiate vehicular access to the development. Traffic calming measures and a pedestrian crossing also formed part of the public realm works.
DRA Consulting Engineers acted in the roles of Civil & Strutcural Engineers and Proejct Supervisors Design Process (PSDP) as part of an integrated design team led by Ailtiri Architects.
